It has been a long time, which I apologize for. Rather than try to explain a lot of things, I decided to go for a Q&A type of post, which I have always wanted to try. Lots of people have been asking these questions, so I thought it fitting. So feedback would be nice.
Q. Hey have you heard about Minecraft and Microsoft?! A. Yes, except it actually Microsoft and Mojang. If you haven't heard, Microsoft has reached a deal to buy Mojang from Notch. You can read about it here.
Q. What do you think of it? And what does it mean for your/Abstraction's servers? A. Both are good questions. I'm not too happy about it, but it is too early to see what the affects will be. As for servers, we will continue playing Minecraft as long as it is possible to have fun while playing it, which will be at least a year.
Q. So...what happened to UHC? A. The last one we played had a couple issues that I wanted to fix, and then the week after school started. I got hit with a ton of stuff to do and never had time to get it back up and running. I wish I could announce that we are starting it again, but unfortunately I still haven't had the time to fix everything the way I would like it, and frankly I'm not sure how much interest there is in it at the moment. I know that I had a ton of fun, and that other people did too, but with how busy life is, I guess I need some feedback from you guys before I want to kick it off again. So let me know what you are thinking about UHC, and hopefully we can bring it back, more fun than ever.
Q. Did I hear something about rule changes? A. Yes. We have updated the server rules to clarify some things. We recommend that you read them, only because you will be held accountable for them. Not meant to scare you, just to make you aware.
Q. Did I hear something about a Modded server? A. Yes you did. We are starting to put together a server, and are looking for your input. We are strongly considering making it a PvP, long term server, which could be really fun to do. Please, please, give me your input and ideas on this so that we can make it fun for all. (I don't have much info right now as we haven't really made any concrete plans.)
Q. I have another question! A. That's not a question! But you can email to ask me if you do have an actual question.
